The Strip a Go Go is set on Patpong soi 2, next to BarBar fetish club, The Strip is a fun and imaginative gogo bar with some interesting features. It might not look too different from rival gogo bars in Patpong, and grabbing a glimpse through the curtains as you pass by may not show much more than the usual stage of gogo dancers in skimpy outfits, but inside things are a bit different. While the right hand side of the bar is lined with more traditional soft seating, to the left you’ll see several private booths, more common in western lap dancing clubs. Each booth is enclosed and curtained, with soft seating surrounding a table with a gogo pole in the centred, set up for customers to get a very private lap dance. Back across the room you’ll also find a glass walled shower perched just above eye level, where girls give regular sexy shower shows.

The bar itself is very well stocked with all the usually beers and spirits, and prices are in-line with most of the soi. However, the attraction of the bar is not the drinks or prices, it’s the coyotes who dance along the bar top poles with actual flames occasionally lighting up behind them. It certainly does the job in hotting up the atmosphere in more ways than one. The bar has 20 gogo dancers, a handful of coyotes, with lots of very attractive, fun and flirtatious members of the team (the management have clearly gone for quality over quantity). There are no set stage shows, though with so much going on in the bar there doesn’t seem to be a need for it. There are also no set uniforms, but the bar puts on regular themed weeks fun and sexy outfits such as during ‘super girl week’ and ‘nurse week.’ Open from around 7 PM until last orders at 3 AM, the bar is all about having a good time, well suited to expats, holidaymakers, and basically anyone looking for a fun night in a raunchy, playful setting.
