Bangkok Beat, located at Sukhumvit Soi 7/1, is a greatly vibrant old school rock bar. By no means should it be judged on its basic exterior, as entering is guaranteed to be highly rewarding for anyone looking for a cheerful, lively atmosphere. The live bands are what the bar is all about, creating an electrifying feel with various local and foreign groups playing every night, full of flare and rocking talent.
The room is somewhat large for a bar, with a spacious ground area plus an additional top floor, great for those who love to do a bit of people watching.
The bar comes with some of the typical themes which you can expect from a rock bar. Neon signs, electric guitars pinned to the wall and a traditional American pool table.
Expect the large majority of the crowd to be from an older generation, as the bar is mainly focused towards old style rock.
