Le Beaulieu

French - $$$

One of Bangkok’s best new restaurants is also one of its best old restaurants.

Napoleonic and fiercely talented chef Herve Frerard has been feeding Bangkok’s high society and political bigwigs for years out of his bright and airy space on Sukhumvit Soi 19. panerai replica watches

After a long, agonizing break, however, he's reopened at the Athenee Office Tower on Wireless Road, where he hopes to attract local clientele with slightly more rustic fare and a casual outdoor wine terrace that serves cold cuts and cheeses.

Le Beaulieu is a refined, convivial French restaurant that offers both sophisticated French classics and rustic French favorites. From premium Fines de Claire oysters to the humble bouillabaisse, roasted Bresse chicken, homemade pâtés or côte de boeuf, chef Hervé meticulously brings out the detail and simplicity of his food by highlighting the quality produce sourced from France, Europe, Thailand, and around the world.

Le Bar is a friendly gastro lounge. With an impressive menu that starts off with light bites and tapas, guests can savour French cold cuts, imported meats freshly roasted, and specialty cheeses. Pair this alongside a fabulous selection of world-class wines, Veuve Clicquot Champagnes, liquors and cigars, or let our mixologist prepare something suiting your mood. Le Bar is an ideal place to enjoy a light meal while winding down with friends and colleagues after sunset.

For on-the-go patrons looking for a quick bite, Le Beaulieu presents the LB Patisserie, a French-style bakery and pastry shop that serves premium sandwiches and baguettes. Specialty pastries and cakes can be savored with a selection of premium teas, or coffee, and topped off with handcrafted French macaroons and ice creams.
