Element
Inspired by the famous Michelin two-star Ciel Bleu restaurant at the Okura Amsterdam, Elements exemplifies the new generation of lifestyle dining. Cosmopolitan guests seeking gourmet food and an exceptional atmosphere without the restraints of traditional fine dining very soon discover that they've struck gold.
Decor is a spectacular blend of raw materials, rusty metal plates, charcoal walls and hardwood surfaces flanked by a bold al fresco cantilevered deck that overlooks the city skyline. The dining experience is intimate and engaging while the cuisine emphasises lightness and intensity; contrasting yet complementary textures, temperatures, flavours and colours are presented such that each beat is to be savoured.
Described by the hotel's Culinary Director Thomas Jakobi as 'Modern Logical Cuisine', Elements' menu utilises the freshest available products based on the four elements of earth, water, fire and air. Wines from new and old world vineyards are selected with special care and precision from a cellar of over 150 labels of boutique and exclusive wines and champagnes by Sommelier Marc Bittner, who also directs imaginative cocktails.
For a recent insight, Henry recently ran through his hot-off-the-press five-course Christmas Eve and Christmas Day set dinner menu priced B4,800++. At once indulgent and artistic, savvy diners will not be disappointed.
